Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & delivery
How long does delivery take?
Orders leave US warehouses and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. Tracking is emailed as soon as your order ships.
How much is shipping?
Nothing. Shipping is free on every order to any US address — no minimum, no surcharge, nothing added at checkout. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay, plus sales tax where it applies.
How do large pieces ship?
Almost everything ships by parcel carrier and is left at your door. Four pieces in the catalog ship by freight (LTL) instead, and each one says so clearly on its own product page before you buy — you will not find out at delivery. For those four, the carrier normally books a delivery window with you, someone should be available to receive it, and you should inspect the carton and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. That last step is what protects a damage claim.
Where do you ship?
The United States. If you are outside the US, email us the piece and your address before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether we can get it to you.
Damage & returns
What if something arrives damaged?
Photograph the damage — and the carton, for freight deliveries — and email support@getroomlift.com with your order number. We will replace it or refund you. For freight, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign.
Can I return something that isn't right?
Yes. The window, the conditions and how refunds are issued are all set out in our Refund Policy — please read it before ordering so there are no surprises.
Products
How do I know a piece will fit?
Every product page lists the real dimensions taken from the manufacturer's own spec sheet. Measure your space first — furniture that is two inches too wide is the most common regret in this category. If a number is missing from a page, it is because we could not confirm it and would rather say nothing than guess.
Are the materials what the titles say?
Yes. Each product page names the actual material — solid wood, mango, acacia, marble, brass, bronze, rattan, linen, bouclé, leather. Where a piece uses a veneer, a faux marble or a composite, the page says so in those words.
Will the colour match the photograph?
Close, not identical. Screens vary, and wood, marble and leather are natural materials with genuine variation from piece to piece. Grain and veining will not match the photo exactly — that is the material behaving normally, not a fault.
Do lights come with bulbs?
Usually not. Each lighting page states the bulb type and maximum wattage it takes, and whether the fixture is hardwired or plugs in. Check that before you buy, especially for hardwired sconces and pendants.
What is a "look"?
A small set of pieces chosen to work together — a console with its mirror and lamp, a table with its chairs and pendant. Each look lists exactly what is in it and what those pieces would cost bought separately, so you can see the difference for yourself.
Trade program
Who qualifies?
Interior designers, architects, contractors, stagers, hospitality and short-let operators. Apply through the Trade Program page; we review applications within one business day.
What does a trade account include?
Trade pricing across the trade-eligible catalog, quotes on volume orders, and a direct contact for sourcing and logistics. A small number of oversized pieces carry freight costs that make them full-price only; your approval email lists exactly which ones.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout is handled by Shopify at PCI Level 1 compliance. We never see or store your full card details.
