What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember what you have done — what is in your cart, what currency you are shopping in — and let us and our advertising partners measure how the site is used.

What we actually set

Essential — always on

These are set by Shopify, which runs our store and our checkout. The site cannot work without them.

cart, cart_currency — remembers your cart and currency
localization — your country and language preference
shopify_client_id — session and store analytics

Advertising

_fbp — Meta pixel, ad measurement and targeting
_ttp, ttcsid — TikTok pixel, ad measurement and targeting

Both run through Shopify's Customer Events framework and are configured in web and server mode, which means some event data is sent from Shopify's servers directly to those platforms rather than from your browser.

Browser storage

We also use browser storage for cartToken, viewedProducts and referral attribution keys. These keep your cart intact and tell us which site sent you.

We do not run a consent banner

We want to be straight with you about this rather than imply a choice you do not have.

Roomlift does not use a cookie consent banner, and advertising cookies load on all visits. We run no separate analytics product — no Google Analytics, no session recording, no heatmaps. Shopify's own store analytics is the only measurement we use beyond the two advertising pixels above.

Your choices

Your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies cannot be switched off without breaking the cart and checkout.
Global Privacy Control. If you visit with a GPC signal enabled, we treat it as an opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information where that applies to you.
US state privacy rights. If you live in a US state with opt-out rights, use the Your Privacy Choices page to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising.

The cookies above are set by Shopify, Meta Platforms and TikTok. Each has its own privacy and cookie policy governing how it uses that data.
